Students
Students in certain MIS classes receive automatic access to this server, simply login using your AccessNet credentials. Others, if you would like to use this server, please contact the MIS department at misdept@temple.edu.
Use of this server is governed by the Temple University Technology Usage Policy. Sites on this server are limited to non-commercial projects that meet educational goals. Temple University reserves the right to revoke this privilege and/or take other disciplinary action against any individual who fails to comply with the Technology Usage policy or the guidelines for use of this server. The MIS project server has the following additional policies regarding use:
- Since the purpose of this server is to allow experimentation, there is a greater chance of downtime. Most problems however can easily be addressed within 24 hours. Please backup all content regularly (in the Dashboard, select Tools, Export and follow the prompts).
- All sites are automatically deleted from this server about two weeks after the end of each semester.
- A site or material that is contrary to the goals and intent of the MIS project server may be removed or placed on hold without notice.
Faculty and Staff
Faculty/staff have immediate access to the MIS project server using their AccessNet account. To provide your students access to this server, please contact the system administrator at misdept@temple.edu. All use is governed by Temple University’s Technology Usage Policy. The MIS project server has the following additional policies:
